On Friday, October 29th, Bethesda Elementary will have an outdoor parade starting at 1:45 PM followed by classroom celebrations which will include FALL activities and NO FOOD. Students may dress in a costume for the parade. They should bring their costumes to school and change prior to the parade.
There will be NO PARKING permitted on school grounds. If you plan to come for the parade, please walk or use the local public garages.
- ALL GRADE LEVELS– starting with 5th grade, will walk out the BACK ( WALKER) doors (in 4th grade wing), turn right and walk up Moorland Ln, cross at the 4-way stop and walk back down Moorland Ln. toward school
- Students will walk towards the bus loop and walk the entire perimeter of the bus loop and enter back into the building using the front doors
*PLEASE do not stand on the sidewalks. If you choose to stand in the bus loop, please stand in the MIDDLE so students have space to walk the perimeter of the loop. We encourage all to wear a mask and be mindful of social distancing. The parade route will be marked with cones.
IF you DO NOT want your child to participate in the Parade and/or the classroom fall festival activities, please contact your child’s teacher to notify us and we will have an alternate activity planned for students who do not participate.
Classroom Celebrations will be led by 1-2 parents previously approved to volunteer. If you are one of the volunteers PLEASE make sure to complete the volunteer requirements (modules and attestation) and complete the BE Volunteer Form and return to your child’s teacher by October 25th.
