Dear Parents and Caregivers, we thank you for your interest in becoming a Room Parent for your student at Bethesda Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year!
Volunteer sign-ups are held via Sign-Up Genius on September 13, via email you have on file on the BE Directory on a first-come, first-served basis. Serena Moriarty, the Room Parent Coordinator for BE, who’s a parent of 3 daughters, one of which is a 3rd grader here at BE, will guide you through the activities and processes along your journey once you sign-up.
Please note that in order to become a parent-volunteer at BE, you will have to complete mandatory volunteer training linked off the main BE website or through your Parent Portal.
** Room Parent – The role of room parent(s) is to coordinate classroom activities with your teacher, building community through class/grade wide activities, and communicate classroom and school wide activities to your class.
